The deep sea dragonfish has teeth on its tongue.

As an ambush predator in the deep ocean (1800m below), meals are few and far between. The extra fangs are probably an evolitionary response to a few million years of missed opportunities.

There are other species of fish with “vomerine” teeth (teeth on the roof of the mouth/tongue) but none that look as nightmare inducing as the dragonfish
