Brute Force

A crocodiles jaw isn’t built to move sideways, so they can’t grind food down in a traditional chewing motion.

In a group that’s not a problem – while a few crocs hold the prey, the others can “death roll” to tear off chunks and swallow them.

Alone they rely on their bite strength, combined with the ability to generate velocity by snapping their bodies and head back to break their meal into smaller pieces.

I guess the lesson here is: friends are important
