The Mako Shark is now considered an endangered species by the IUCN
Hopefully this will change the way we look at the world’s fastest shark. I myself and many others around the world are heartbroken by this news.
Many of us have worked closely with these sharks for many years. I cannot say that we have not seen this coming for a long time.
Although it is one of the biggest tragedies I can think of to happen to this species, I really do hope that now more realize that a big change needs to happen.
