Not sure how many of you have ever made the mistake of touching a cactus with bare skin, but if you have you’ll understand how insane this is.

Camels are equipped with hardened structures called papillae inside their mouth that prevent injury and help them eat tough food like cacti.

Before you ask: I have no idea how they poop after a meal like this.
