Skin In The Game
This young zebra escaped a hungry pack of hyenas, but not before they could strip the skin off his backside.
This is not a happy ending. Infection will surely kill it, much slower than the pack would have.
On the upside – without stripes it will be harder to blend in with the heard and easier to pick off.
Might get lucky yet…
