A fox’s ears are especially sensitive to low frequencies, and they can hear animals burrowing through the snow cover.

If it hears an animal, a fox can dig through it and catch it.

They can also see the earth’s magnetic field, just like sharks, birds and turtles.

It’s hard to explain how they do this exactly, but it does aid them in hunting when they can’t see their prey.
