Muskox weigh roughly 900lbs and have a top speed of 37mph (60kph)
They fight for dominance of the herds females by getting up to speed and smashing their heads together.
Males have a thick bony plate on top of the head and air pockets inside the skull.
These morpho-anatomical structures prevent injuries to the head and brain during fights.
They also eat fucking grass.
To me that’s the wildest fact of all.
