Wels catfish observed hunting pigeons in the river Tarn.

Their success rate at hunting these clueless birds is still only 30%

The reason being that catfish have awful eyesight and can only detect the pigeon with its whiskers (feelers?), so they need to be super close.

In this video at least, the pigeons don’t seem to notice the catfish until it’s too late, so the catfish are essentially using their own apathy against them.

The others don’t seem to mind.
