The bite force of a grizzly bear has been measured at over 1160 psi (8 megapascals)

It has been estimated that the bite of a grizzly could crush a bowling ball.

A grizzly bears claws grow up to 6 inches (15cm) long and as thick as a cigar.

Powered by the massive muscles in the grizzly bears back and shoulders, one swipe of their paw can kill an animal as large as a moose.

The largest grizzly bear ever found weighed 1600lbs (725kg) and stood over 14ft (4.2m) standing upright.

They can run at speeds of up to 30mph (48kph). They are also excellent swimmers.

They have an excellent sense of smell, better than that of a bloodhound.

For comparison: a bloodhounds sense of smell is 300 times better than our own, a grizzly bears sense of smell is 7 times better than that of of a bloodhound…. so 2100 times better than ours.

They also self-isolate for 5-7 months of each year.

I’ve been doing it for 3 weeks and I’m already going bananas.

I am positive I am not alone.
